Welcome to someday

The Hobbit-Flug-Sicherheitsvideo bei Air New Zealand

YouTube: An Unexpected Briefing (via Langeweile

New Zealand traditionell gerne mal was einfallen.

London Calling

+++ And now for something completly different: Werbung +++

This video uses exclusively the video mapping technique to build several characters on a human face. The images were projected directly over an actor, as in a canvas. This video mapping technique, seen before in spectacular projections on buildings and cars, uses in this video the human face as its single object of work.

Flying People in New York City

Drei ferngesteuerte Flugzeuge in Menschengestalt über New York.

"Jim Henson made this film in 1963 for The Bell System. Specifically, it was made for an elite seminar given for business owners, on the then-brand-new topic — Data Communications. The seminar itself involved a lot of films and multimedia presentations, and took place in Chicago ... The organizers of the seminar, Inpro, actually set the tone for the film in a three-page memo from one of Inpro's principals, Ted Mills to Henson. Mills outlined the nascent, but growing relationship between man and machine: a relationship not without tension and resentment: "He [the robot] is sure that All Men Basically Want to Play Golf, and not run businesses — if he can do it better." ... Henson's execution is not only true to Mills' vision, but he also puts his own unique, irreverent spin on the material ..."

Photoshop als Beauty-Produkt

Vimeo: Fotoshop by Adobé (via Publique)

This commercial isn't real, neither are society's standards of beauty.

Exoplanetarische Reiseposter

Everyday we find more and more indications, that Earth-like planets are all around. Life beyond the Earth becomes increasingly likely. We are no longer alone in the universe. Wouldn’t it be great if those extrasolar planets are not only big hunks of stone and ice with just here and there some bacterial live, but really beautiful planets. Where the nature is as pristine, like Earth was, before we left our Ecological footprint. It made me think: “What if we could travel to these extrasolar planets?” Celebrating vacations. It would be like the time that each holiday was a trip to the unknown. A discovery. As on these posters from the 1930s, countries and cities that you knew only of images and hearsay. The images were innocent and exotic. Pure.

Vintage Beer Sweaters

Heineken? Fuck that shit! Pabst Blue Ribbon! Mehr Bierpullover im Flickr-Album von AJ Fosik:
"Promotional knit beer sweaters from the 70s and 80s. All of these sweaters were unearthed by me, rescued from moldy basements, plucked from dingy backwaters and ripped from the backs of greasy shitleopards. Unfortunately none of these trophies are for sale."

Fake Japanese Ad Characters
